Every manufacturer says they care about quality. But at Airmaster, we know that saying it isn’t the same as showing it — and we believe quality has to be earned every day on the floor, in the systems, and most importantly, by the people doing the work.
We sat down with our Operations Manager, who came to Airmaster after years in the automotive stamping and supply world, to talk about what real quality looks like in action — and how operations can either reinforce it or get in its way.
“I came here because I wanted something different. Automotive moves fast — sometimes at the cost of people and process. Airmaster runs on purpose. One shift, minimal overtime, and a real focus on doing things right.”
The truth is: quality has to be built in.
You don’t get quality by demanding it — you get it by designing for it. From the preferred stock system to how we pace production, Airmaster is structured for control and care, not chaos.
“We’re not rushing to meet unrealistic targets. We’ve got a clear plan, and we stick to it. Build what you need, when you need it — that’s how you protect quality without burning people out.”
And while machines and systems matter, it always comes back to the people.
“The associates are the most important part of this place. Tools help, but it’s the people that make sure the work is done right — and that’s what keeps our quality consistent.”
What still surprises him? The power of what we build.
Even after seeing it every day, our operations manager still finds awe in our products:
"The scale and power of these fans still impress me — you can be on the opposite side of the building and feel the air moving. That kind of performance, especially from fans designed to run whisper quiet, never gets old."
Planning for what’s next
As Airmaster evolves, so do our operations. Whether it’s new equipment like the incoming laser station or adapting policies for a smarter, more efficient future, our operations team plays a central role in maintaining our reputation.
“You’ve got to adapt. Keep your systems sharp, update policies, train well, and stay aligned with where the company is going. That’s how we keep quality real — not just a buzzword.”
At Airmaster, quality isn’t something we say. It’s something we build — together, every day.
